Forth for WiFi Chip ESP8266 - CH Ting
"I got eForth to run on the ESP8266 WiFi microcontroller chip. I was able to execute programs through UDP packets. I am still learning WiFi tricks. I hope to demonstrate compiling and executing new Forth words on ESP8266 wirelessly."

How to Build Primitives in Creole Forth for Excel - Joseph M. O'Connor
In Creole Forth for Excel (CFE) extensions to the language are commonly added as primitives written in VBA (analogous to writing CODE words in other Forths). This tutorial will show how to get started writing your own primitives.

I remember the FIG-Tree dial-up board. John James wrote FIG-Forth for the PDP-11 and The FIG Tree which evolved into the generic Menu Tree bulletin board system. John wrote a number of articles in Forth Dimensions including the Menu Tree implementation of XModem with an interesting CRC.

In those days you got a lower rate for a residential phone line, and it had to be listed in the phone book. The FIG Tree was an Apple ][ at Bill Ragsdale's house and it was in the phone book as "Apple Ragsdale".
