Transcription Factors - CH Ting
"It appears that transcription factors are the mechanism the body uses to initiate the transcription of messenger RNAs and non-coding RNA's from genomes. They bind to genomes with a 22 base pattern which I believe are taken from microRNAs. If I can find all the connections between them, I'll have a more complete picture of cell computers"

WWWBasic + Bringing Nike Simulation Game to the Web - Brad Nelson
"At last month's SVFIG meeting, Ed Thelen presented a Nike Hercules simulator, written in FreeBASIC. Inspired by the challenges of running BASIC code in 2018 (particularly on my Linux laptop), I started hacking away mid-meeting on a web-based BASIC compiler. I'll explore the challenges involved in implementing it, how focusing on just bringing up Ed's program was a powerful simplifying assumption, and how a Forth implementation might work if done similarly."

BSPL's Role in Kestrel-3 - Speculation and Thoughts - Samuel A. Falvo II
"I will describe what BSPL (Basic Systems Programming Language) is (my statically compiled Forth-like language that targets RISC-V specifically), and how it currently works. Then, I will describe what I would like to see it do for me to support Kestrel-3 development. If done correctly, it should help me bring up both VertigOS as well as DX/Forth 2.0."
